Over the next three years, he worked with dozens of
up-and-coming filmmakers from New York’s finest universities and art
institutions, including New York
University, Columbia University, The School of Visual Arts, New York Film Academy, 5 Towns College, and The New School. These years of primarily pro-bono work built his
resume, complied a substantial list of contacts, established the foundations for his hustling work ethic, offered the familiarity
of being on a wide range of film sets, and provided a keen understanding of the distinctive collaborative effort of
filmmaking (it’s either present and connected, or it’s screamingly missing).
Bryan continues to seek out that special blend of creative and collaborative work, whether produced by students or by seasoned professionals in the industry.
Training and Workshops
Bryan has studied with prestigious acting coaches in New York such as Bob McAndrew (former head of casting at Paramount Pictures and talent coach for Twentieth Century Fox), Tom Grail, and Peter Miner (former director of One Life to Live for two decades) at T. Schrieber Studios.
Bryan has completed workshops with: independent casting directors Geoffrey Soffer (former CD for ABC), Amy Gossels, Alison McBryde, Tori Visgilio (former CD at One Life to Life), to name a few. He has also completed workshops with Ela Thier (writer, director of independent films), David Elliott (agent at Don Buchwald & Associates), Jackie and Kerry Donelli (co-writers and producers), Will Wallace (producer, writer, director and actor). Notably, he was significantly refocused and inspired when he met Pamela Kramer (of Bradley Baron Casting).
Bryan is currently working bi-coastally in Los Angeles and New York, training at Anthony Meindl’s Actor’s Workshop with Tony Meindl (author of “At Left Brain Turn Right”) and Emily Fletcher. He also studies with Brian Reise (who has cultivated numerous stars including George Clooney) at Brian Reise Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
